I was introduced to Darren as my
main guide by a very talented medium in May of
2004. I really had very little clue about
spirit guides until that point but felt such
overwhelming love from him and excitement about
meeting him. I was also told that he lived in
the 1800s and had passed away from a bout with
Cholera.
After the reading I paced around
our home for a while and finally went out onto
the front porch. I really didn’t know what I
was doing but decided to ask Darren some
questions. The answers I felt coming from him
really blew me away. I asked Darren what I was
meant to do in life and immediately was told
that I was meant to go into the ministry. This
was not a new idea to me as I had given the
ministry consideration about 20 years ago but as
I had pulled away from Christianity shortly
after that and was still searching for where I
fit into the world’s religions this news was not
particularly welcome either. I thought to
Darren, and myself “Well, there are many kinds
of ministry aren’t there”? I immediately got
the feeling of knowing Darren was standing there
with his arms crossed and tapping his foot in a
“Don’t push me little girl”, or a “You know what
I mean” attitude. I snickered just a little to
myself and was finally able to settle down. The
rest of the day and into the next I walked
around with such an awesome feeling of
happiness, love and of being loved. I knew
Darren was right even if I had no clue how I was
going to become a minister at the age of 46 and
with a 9 year old home schooled daughter at home
with me.
It wouldn’t be until almost 2
months later that everything fell into place and
I realized that a Spiritualist Ministry is where
I belonged. About the same time the perfect
situation to study to make ministry a reality
for me also came along. You can read about my
path to Spiritual Ministry on the site
here.
Darren and I have not spent a lot
of time together that I am aware of since this
as I have been surrounded with some pretty
impressive and exciting angels through some
wondrous events as well as some pretty rough
times but I love him dearly and am so glad to
know he is around and watching out for me.
